Ronald TaylorManaging Director Ron brings extensive experience to real estate partnerships between the public and private sector. As Managing Director for various facilities in the Canadian market, his responsibilities include the overall performance and efficiency of each building. With a particular expertise in public facilities and mixed-use properties, Ron has 20 years’ experience in real estate planning, development and management. In addition to his knowledge of facilities management, his involvement in development projects around the world is far reaching. His work includes the retail and amenity components of such landmark Olympia & York projects as Queen's Quay Terminal in Toronto, World Financial Center in New York, Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco and Canary Wharf in London, England and is currently the Development manager for the Halifax Port Authority, overseeing 20 acres of Brownfield redevelopment on Halifax’s historic waterfront. Ron sits on several industry boards and committees including the Toronto Board of Trade Tourism Committee and is Past Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee of Tourism Toronto. He is a frequent speaker and panelist at conferences and symposiums on the professional management of public facilities and public-private partnerships.
Harvey ReppGeneral Manager, K-Rock Centre, Kingston, Canada Prior to taking on the responsibility of design and operational input during the development and construction phases for the Kingston project, he was the Director of Operations at the 1.1 million square feet Direct Energy Centre in Toronto. At The Direct Energy Centre, Harvey was also part of the development committee responsible for a $40 million renovation to an existing entertainment complex and was instrumental in providing a smooth transition from design, through construction to start-up and operations of the new 10,000 seat hockey and entertainment facility which is now home to a major tenant, the Toronto Marlies of the AHL. His formal training is in the Architectural Technology sector of Engineering Sciences and his 30 years of experience in operations of hockey facilities in the NHL, WJHL, AHL and the OHL, trade and consumer shows and event production in Toronto, Ontario and Edmonton, Alberta can provide on-site expertise in the overall operations, preventative and long-term maintenance and capital improvement, administration, construction and project management within the facilities. His experience also includes horse racing and casino industry from Northlands Park, home of the Canadian Derby.
Neil ShorthouseDirector of Marketing and Client Services Prior to joining the company, Neil held various operations and sales positions at Sportsco Inc. (SkyDome). Neil's role included the booking and co-ordination of rental and self and co-produced events and acting as a liaison with its major sports tenants, key promoters and corporate event clients. Neil has also managed several major event projects as a freelance event promoter as well as with agencies overseas. Neil is an active member of International Association of Assembly Managers (IAAM), the Ontario Hockey League Facility Managers Association and he is a regular guest speaker at Ontario University and College programs and local business association events.
